Amnesty International welcomes the Government of Malaysia’s pledges to recognise and protect the rights of Indigenous peoples, and the announcement that it will “seriously” consider the recommendations made by the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM) on Indigenous land rights.
