Erika Guevara Rosas, Americas Director at Amnesty International

“The unusual deployment and presence of security forces in front of the Commission and during the president’s announcement is an effort to intimidate the people and institutions working for justice and human rights. The government cannot lead the country to repeat its shameful history of decades gone by.”
