Amnesty International welcomes the High Commissioner’s report on the situation of human rights in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. It urges the UN Human Rights Council to demonstrate solidarity with the people of the DPRK and not let international attention fade by sustaining international engagement, supporting victim-centered approaches and ensuring credible processes for evidence-gathering and accountability.
