A joint letter from 20 human rights organizations to the King of Bahrain and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to immediately and unconditionally release Dr. Abduljalil Al-Singace and in the meantime, to ensure he is held in conditions that meet international standards, receives his medication without delay and has access to adequate healthcare, in compliance with medical ethics, and to ensure that his arbitrarily confiscated research is immediately transferred to his family members. Al-Singace is an academic, an award-winning activist and a blogger who marks his 61st birthday, and his twelfth year spent in detention. He has now been on hunger strike for over year and a half.
