Thousands of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants are currently facing harsh winter conditions in the Greek islands and mainland Greece, and along the Western Balkans route. On International Migrants Day, Amnesty International is calling on the newly installed European Commission to urgently protect the rights of people stranded across the Eastern Mediterranean route.
