On 14 November 2023, Cameroon’s human rights record will be reviewed at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, during the Universal Periodic Review (UPR). On this occasion, Amnesty International and different civil society organizations of Cameroon are calling publicly on the UN member States to produce strong recommendations for the protection and respect of human rights in Cameroon.
