Universal Jurisdiction: The scope of universal civil jurisdiction
This paper reviews some of the relevant international law and standards concerning the obligation of states to ensure that victims of crimes under international law and their families obtain reparations and notes some of the many examples of state practice and opinio juris concerning universal civil jurisdiction over crimes under international law.
