This amicus curiae brief relates to Article 13.14 of the Criminal Code of Mongolia that criminalizes the “dissemination of false information”. Amnesty International undertakes to assist the Constitutional Court (Tsets) of Mongolia by submitting applicable international human rights law and standards regarding the right to freedom of expression, with a particular focus on the right to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds without undue interference.
