This submission was prepared for the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Malawi in 3 – 14 November. In it, Amnesty International evaluates the implementation of recommendations made to Malawi in its previous review, including in relation to the rights to freedom of expression, association and peaceful assembly; persons with albinism and attacks on human rights defenders.
