This report looks in detail at the alleged practice of torture and secret detention in the centre of Témara. It gives details of the abuses surrounding the detention and the failures of the judicial process to deal with such abuses. It also includes the reaction of the Moroccan authorities to criticisms of these practices made by Amnesty International and other organizations. The appendix contains the cases of five individuals arrested in 2002-03 and allegedly tortured or ill-treated in detention in the Témara centre.
