An urgent call from civil society for ambitious climate finance commitments by developed countries at COP31

Floods, storms, heatwaves & wildfires are increasingly impacting climate-vulnerable countries and communities on the front line of the climate crisis. Yet high income countries the most responsible for climate change consistently fail on their legal obligations under the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change to provide support to lower income countries for climate action.
Climate finance will again take centre stage at the upcoming UN climate summit COP31 in Antalya, Turkiye. Nearly 150 civil society organizations from across the world have issued this urgent call to high income countries to bring their post-2025 climate finance commitments to Antalya.
