This open letter, signed by Amnesty International Secretary General Agnès Callamard, conveys our global petition signed by 107,273 people from 180 countries and territories demanding an end to the unlawful targeted surveillance of human rights defenders. The petition was submitted at the UN General Assembly’s 77th session on October 26 2022.
