Based in London
For fifty years, we’ve been campaigning for human rights wherever justice, freedom and truth are denied. We’ve reshaped policies, challenged governments and taken corporations to task. In doing so, we have changed thousands of lives for the better. At the International Secretariat, we provide global strategic leadership, support and advice to the AI movement, fostering AI's contribution, presence and public accountability. With senior-level backing to invest in major donor fundraising, this London based post (with occasional international travel) presents a fantastic opportunity to work within one of the most recognised organisations in the world. The successful candidate would work closely with the Secretary General and leaders of AI's national Sections to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward philanthropists capable of annually contributing $1 million or more to the global movement.
You will have extensive experience of identifying, cultivating and stewarding key individual donor or customer relationships, preferably in an international context. You will also have previous involvement in developing and implementing long-term major donor fundraising or key customer marketing strategies.
