The above-named, aged 28 years from the Rimal quarter of Gaza city, was issued with a six-month administrative detention order on 26 November 1990. Wafiq Abu Siddu has worked for the Palestine Human Rights Information Centre since 1986 and is also an active member of the Arab Journalists Association. At the appeal hearing, it was apparently confirmed that he had not been involved in violence, and that his human rights work had contributed to the decision to place him in administrative detention.
