Amnesty International is concerned for the lives of Rajavarothiyam Sampanthan, Y Balachandran, Veerasingham Anandasangari, Nadarasa Raviraj, K Sivajilingam and other Tamil politicians, whose lives are at risk from members of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), an armed opposition group.
