Amnesty International is concerned about 41 long-term political prisoners in Viet Nam who were detained or arrested between 1975 and 1985. Thirteen have been adopted as prisoners of conscience while another 28 possible prisoners of
conscience have been taken up for investigation over the years since 1975.
