This document presents Amnesty International’s preliminary comments on the Draft Law on Internal Affairs of Republic of Serbia, which is currently open for public consultation. It sets out the organisations broad concerns relating to specific provisions, including those introducing biometric surveillance; the expansive list of coercive means and conditions of their use against public assemblies; and the definitions of entities which may be designated as ‘police’.
