Amnesty International is presenting this submission to the United Nations (UN) Committee against Torture (the Committee) ahead of its examination of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH) sixth periodic report on the implementation of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (the Convention). The document highlights Amnesty International’s concerns in relation to a number of questions on the Committee’s List of Issues (LOI) to be taken up in connection with this consideration of the BiH State Report.
These concerns relate to human rights violations linked to the legacy of the 1992-1995 conflict in BiH.
