Racism and the right to health: Amnesty International submission to the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health

This submission to the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health on racism and the right to health covers the following themes, based on a list of questions provided by the Special Rapporteur: manifestations of racism in access to social determinants of health, barriers to health care faced by people subject to racism, impacts of public health measures (including the use of coercive approaches around public health), and the impacts of how health is financed. It is based on Amnesty International’s research on these issues across countries.
