This report is being published as part of Amnesty International’s major worldwide campaign against human rights abuses in the Russian Federation. The campaign seeks to highlight the discrepancy between the human rights protection which those living in the Russian Federation have in international and national law, and the reality of widespread human rights abuses committed by agents of the state and non-state actors in a climate of impunity. This report aims to mobilize people around the world to call on the government to confront and eradicate racism and ensure that the right to be free from racial discrimination becomes a reality for all within the Russian Federation
