Amnesty International, in its ten-point Human Rights Charter, urges the newly elected Government of Pakistan to prioritize and commit to the following recommendations to uphold human rights in the country. Amnesty International invites Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and respective provincial governments to grasp this opportunity to put Pakistan’s international human rights commitments at the forefront of future policies and decisions.
