Amnesty International today (Monday 30 January) appealed to the international community to bring pressure on Iran to end the wave of political executions there. The worldwide human rights organization’s call for a halt to the killings came in a statement submitted for the 45th session of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva today.
