Amnesty International is concerned for the safety of Yacob Hamdan, Zainal Abdullah, Abdul Manaf, Ishak, Abdul Mutaleb and Tgk M Saleh who have “disappeared” after they were arrested between 27 June and 8 July 1999, allegedly by the Indonesian National Army. AI urges the authorities to establish and make public the whereabouts of these men and to provide guarantees for their safety.
