Since the beginning of February 2014, Venezuela has been shaken by mass protests for and against the government in various parts of the country. In this report Amnesty International urges the Venezuelan government to carry out impartial and independent investigations into all complaints of human rights violations and to implement a National Human Rights Plan. The answer to the crisis must be the respect of the human rights of all, regardless of their political views, and the strengthening of the rule of law.
