Amnesty International is concerned for the safety of Hafir Shala, an ethnic Albanian from Kosovo, who was reportedly arrested by police on 10 April 1998. He has “disappeared”. He is at risk of torture or ill-treatment and, should criminal proceedings be initiated, denial of a fair trial.
