On 7 July 1994 Zafer Tuzun and Deniz Bayram were formally arrested and committed to prison. Mansur Daslik and Mehmet Kurt are still under interrogation at Princlik Gendarmerie Station. Their detention and that of Mehmet Askin has been acknowledged. It is not yet known how any of the five were treated in custody. Ismail Agaya remains “disappeared” and there is grave concern for his safety.
