Free Imaan and Hadi

Human rights lawyers Imaan Mazari-Hazir and Hadi Ali Chattha have been imprisoned because they spoke out. Sign this petition calling on Pakistan’s prime minister to release them immediately and unconditionally.

What’s the problem?

The married couple met while representing a client in court and have spent their careers standing alongside people facing injustice in Pakistan. Despite threats and harassment, they continued representing victims of state oppression and speaking out for human rights.

On 24 January 2026, they were sentenced to lengthy prison terms because of social media posts expressing solidarity with Baloch and Pashtun activists and criticizing the Pakistan military.

Instead of continuing the work they believe in – and the everyday life they enjoyed together – they have been imprisoned and separated from one another.

Your action can help show Pakistan’s authorities that people around the world are calling for justice and standing with Imaan and Hadi.

It only takes 30 seconds to sign.

What can you do to help?

Sign the petition calling on Pakistan’s prime minister to immediately and unconditionally release Imaan Mazari-Hazir and Hadi Ali Chattha, quash their convictions and drop all outstanding charges against them.
