Over the past two years Amnesty International and NGO partners have contributed toward the development of the Recommendation of the Committee of Ministers to member States on human rights and business (the Recommendation). In this statement, the organisations welcome the adoption of the Recommendation on 3 March 2016 and urge the Council of Europe member states and the EU to move swiftly toward its effective implementation.
