Amnesty International fears for the safety of M Yahya Daud whose whereabouts are unknown since he was arrested by a riot control police unit, the PPRM (Petugas Penindak Rusuh Massa), on 4 August 1999.Those detained by the PPRM are at risk of being tortured, ill-treated, “disappeared” or unlawfully killed.
