Francisco Chacon Torres, a 15-year-old street youth, was allegedly shot dead by two private policement in Zone 9 of Guatemala City on 28 April 1991. He is said to have been walking in Zone 9 with another street child when shots were fired from close by: the boys reportedly started to run away but Francisco Chacon was hit and died instantly. Friends of the dead boy claim that he had previously been threatened by these same private guards.
