Adoption network for conscientious objectors in Western Europe: Switzerland: Nicolas Carron
Nicolas Carron, a 32-year-old agricultural worker from Fully, Canton of Valais, commenced a two-month sentence in Crete-Longue prison on 10 June 1992. Amnesty International believes that his refusal of military service is based on his conscientiously-held pacifist and religious beliefs and considers him a prisoner of conscience who should be immediately and unconditionally released.
