This document, prepared by Amnesty International and the International Committee of Jurists, addresses the issue of the incompatibility of the Chilean 1978 Amnesty Law with the international legislation and the obligation of the Chilean courts of justice to investigate and try those individuals responsible for gross human rights violations committed during the military government.
