Sudan: Fear of torture or ill-treatment / incommunicado detention / prisoner of conscience: Dr Nageeb Nagmeldin el Toum

A prominent human rights defender, Dr Nageeb Nagmeldin el Toum, is being held in Kober prison, Khartoum, without access to his family, legal representatives and medical attention. Amnesty International considers him a prisoner of conscience and fears that he may be tortured or ill-treated.
