Uganda: Arrest Now! Joseph Kony, Vincent Otti, Okot Odhiambo and Dominic Ongwen

The International Criminal Court issued warrants of arrest for Joseph Kony, Vincent Otti, Okot Odhiambo and Dominic Ongwen (all leaders of the Lord’s Resistance Army) in July 2005. The warrants referred to crimes against humanity and war crimes committed in Uganda since July 2002. The suspects are reportedly moving between Democratic Republic of Congo and the Sudan. This document urges the UN Security Council to clarify MONUC’s mandate and to ask it to search for and arrest anyone named under an ICC warrant.
