Nader Qumsieh, aged 25, was injured during interrogation in May 1993. One medical report states that he told the examining doctor that he was injured after falling down stairs. He has stated repeatedly that the injury was caused by torture. There is concern at the alleged torture, and that a medical doctor may be implicated in false reporting.
