There has been no news of Mehmet Fida Alin since 11 July 1994 when he was detained in Denizli neighbourhood of Adana by armed plain clothed men who said that they were police. Mehmet Fida Alin was an executive committee member of the Democracy Party (DEP) in the Seyhan district of Adana.
