Kazakhstan: Imprisoned for unfurling a banner
Two people have been arrested for holding a banner during the Almaty marathon in Kazakhstan which read “You can’t run away from the truth”, “#AdilSailayUshin” (#ForFreeElections) and “#I have a choice”. They have been detained for the peaceful expression of their views and are prisoners of conscience.
