Mexico: Open letter to INM re: Human rights organizations prevented from accessing migrant holding centres

Amnesty International writes to the Commissioner of the National Institute for Migration (INM), Francisco Garduño Yáñez, to raise concern about the restrictions faced by several organizations defending the rights of migrants and asylum seekers to access migrant detention centers in the south of the country and in Mexico City. These actions take place after the arrival of a migrant caravan to the southern border of Mexico and the detention of more than 3,000 of its members by the Mexican authorities.
