Iran: Appeal Case: Iranian Arab Activists sentenced after unfair trials

Brothers Hani Bawi, 22 and Moslem Bawi, 19, two members of their extended family, Mansour Tayouri and Hassan Bou Azar (or Boughedar or Bozar) and another man, Lefteh Sarkheh (or Sarkhi), were reportedly sentenced by a Revolutionary Court in Ahvaz City on 19 March 2006. Amnesty International opposes the death penalty in all circumstances as a violation of the right to life and the ultimate cruel, inhuman and degrading punishment.
