In this report Amnesty International submits a summary of its concerns regarding torture and ill-treatment in Argentina for the consideration of the Committee against Torture during its examination, in November 1997, of Argentina’s third periodic report on measures taken to implement the provisions of the UN Convention against Torture and other Cruel, inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
