On 29 September 1999, 49-year-old Ismail Adylov, a human rights defender, was sentenced to six years’ imprisonment. All the charges relate to documents allegedly planted in his home by police. This document also briefly describes the cases of NOPCHU members Makhbuba Kasymova and Akhmadkhon Turakhanov.
