This report documents Amnesty International’s concerns regarding the grave human rights situation in Zimbabwe, where there are constant attacks on the independent press and on perceived and real opponents of the government. Of particular concern is the ongoing violations by the group calling themselves war veterans, who act with impunity and with the acquiescence of the government.
