Amnesty International remains concerned at the Bangladeshi authorities’ ongoing failure to fully implement the Covenant at the national level. This briefing outlines Amnesty International’s main areas of concern on Bangladesh including: increasing restrictions on the right to freedom of expression; human rights concerns around Rohingya refugees who have fled into the country from Myanmar since October 2016; and human rights issues facing Indigenous People in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
