United States of America: New Year's resolution: End a cruel and outdated punishment
On 15 December 2006, executions in California and Florida were suspended because of problems with their lethal injection procedures. The issue will now be placed within the elected branches of government. How much longer will the United States cling to this cruel and outdated punishment?
