United States of America: death penalty developments in 1991
This document provides information about death sentences and executions in the USA in 1991: 14 executions took place and at the end of 1991 2,547 people were under death sentence. Issues such as alleged racial disparities in sentencing, and the sentencing of juveniles or mentally ill persons are examined.
