Honduras: Human rights crisis threatens as repression increases
Concerns about human rights in Honduras have intensified since the democratically elected President Zelaya was forced from power on 28 June 2009 and expelled from the country by a military backed group of politicians. Media workers and human rights defenders who are legitimately carrying out their vital work covering events have also been targeted.
