Barbados: Death penalty and discrimination against LGBT people still to be addressed: Amnesty International submission to the UN Universal Periodic Review

In this submission Amnesty International comments on the response of the Barbadian government to recommendations made to it during its previous review. Amnesty International also comments on the death penalty provisions in Barbadian law and provides evidence of the use of mandatory death sentences in recent rulings. Additionally, Amnesty International notes concerns about the entrenchment of discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in Barbadian law.
