Rwanda: The troubled course of justice

Six years after the genocide and other massacres in Rwanda an estimated 125,000 detainees are held in Rwanda’s detention centres and prisons. The majority are accused of participation in the genocide, many of whom have been arbitrarily and unlawfully arrested.
