The above-named who comes from the Hebron area in the West Bank, was arrested in mid-July 1991 and issued with a four-month detention order. He appealed and his order was reduced by 12 days. He is currently being held in the Ketziot detention centre and is due for release on 9 November 1991. Amnesty International does not know the reasons given for his detention order and is concerned that Dawud ‘Awdeh may not have been given an adequate opportunity to challenge his order.
