Following the UN Human Rights Committee’s finalization of its first reading of the Draft General Comment No. 37 on Article 21 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, Amnesty International has prepared this document of comments on the draft in order to strengthen protection of the right to freedom of peaceful assembly.
